Products & Ingredients
What forms of folate does Priority One use?
Where clinically appropriate, we use Quatrefolic® (5-methyltetrahydrofolate glucosamine salt), the most bioavailable form of active folate available. This is the form found directly in products such as Hemo-X, rather than synthetic folic acid which requires conversion by the body.
Do your products contain glandular concentrates? Where do they come from?
Yes, select Priority One products such as Thyroid 65mg and Total Gland Plus contain grass-fed, freeze-dried glandular concentrates. These are sourced from animals raised without hormones or antibiotics, and are prepared to preserve the natural integrity of the tissue.
Are Priority One supplements vegetarian or vegan?
Many of our products use vegetarian capsules. Product-specific dietary information including capsule type, common allergens, and suitability for vegetarians is listed on each product page. Products containing glandular concentrates are not suitable for vegetarians or vegans.
What is Beta Glucan and what does it support?
Beta glucan is a naturally occurring polysaccharide found in oats, barley, and certain mushrooms and yeast. Priority One Beta Glucan is formulated to support normal immune function.* As with all dietary supplements, individual results may vary.
What products does Priority One offer for gut health?
Our gut and digestive health range includes SIBOtic (for bacterial balance support*), Biofilm Phase-2 (biofilm disruption support*), Para Clean (with olive leaf, oregano, and black walnut*), and Bio Candida Care (microbial and digestive balance support*). All are third-party tested and GMP certified.
What is Tributyrin Advanced?
Tributyrin Advanced is a supplement providing tributyrin, a triglyceride form of butyrate that is naturally produced in the gut through fermentation of dietary fibre. It is designed to support gut lining integrity and digestive health.* See the product page for full ingredient details.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
What does FDA 21 CFR Part 111 mean?
FDA 21 CFR Part 111 is the federal regulation that establishes current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) requirements for dietary supplements sold in the United States. Compliance means our manufacturing facility meets strict standards for personnel, equipment, sanitation, production, laboratory operations, and recordkeeping.
What is NSF/ANSI 455-2 certification?
NSF/ANSI 455-2 is an independent certification standard for Good Manufacturing Practices in the dietary supplement industry, administered by NSF International. Certification requires regular facility audits and testing to verify that products are consistently manufactured to meet safety, quality, and labeling requirements.
Are Priority One products tested for heavy metals and contaminants?
Yes. Our third-party testing program includes testing for heavy metals, microbial contaminants, and potency verification. Results are maintained as part of our manufacturing documentation per FDA 21 CFR Part 111 requirements.
Do Priority One products contain any banned substances?
Priority One supplements are formulated exclusively with ingredients permitted for dietary supplements under applicable US and Canadian regulations. They are not formulated, tested, or marketed for use in competitive sports.
