Its mechanisms include supporting GABA receptor activity via valerenic acid and related sesquiterpenes, and supporting adenosine receptor activity — contributing to normal pain threshold and healthy pain perception.*
Passionflower Blue Flower Extract 4:1 (Passiflora caerulea, 25mg) — A 4:1 concentrated extract equivalent to 100mg of raw blue passionflower per serving. Its flavonoids — particularly chrysin — support GABA-A receptor activity, contributing to normal nervous system calm and normal pain perception via the GABAergic pathway.*
Hops Strobile Extract 4:1 (Humulus lupulus, 13mg) — A 4:1 concentrated extract equivalent to 52mg of raw hops per serving. Hops supports normal GABA receptor activity and healthy nervine activity, working synergistically with valerian through overlapping GABAergic and adenosinergic pathways.*
